Trade and commerce have been the primary driving force behind global development for thousands of years, a basic human trait that is widely believed to have its founding roots in the Middle East. Today, despite increased global communication and mobility, and growing markets in the region, the UK still lags behind other European markets in its trade links with the Middle East, with only the largest enterprises establishing a solid presence.
Zaffran was born from a shared desire to plug this gap using local knowledge and experience of the region. We aim to ensure Middle Eastern markets are accessible and desirable to all UK enterprise, in particular for small and medium sized UK enterprises who may not have previously considered investing in the Middle East region as a viable means to expand and build on domestic successes with their products and services.
As opposed to focusing in solely on the Gulf economies as a means to 'get rich quick', we feel that the markets of the Levant region, Turkey and Iran, nations well versed in trade and commerce, also hold huge opportunity and potential for our clients .
We are a UK-based company whose team members have both knowledge and experience of living in the Middle East.

Zaffran is able to offer a high quality in-house translation service for Farsi or Arabic text into English, and at a competitive rate in comparison with standard market rates. Whether you wish to translate a website, or need legal or commercial documents translated quickly and efficiently, we can help you.
Zaffran can also offer translation services on commission from English into Arabic and Farsi. We are in contact with excellent translators who are more than able to meet the challenges of your translation needs.
For in-house services our tariffs run at a flat rate of £70 per 1000 words. For English into Arabic or Farsi translation requests, please contact us via our contacts page and we will be happy to discuss your request or enquiry.
